I've been swinging a golf club for as long as I can remember. Golf has been one of those constants in my life that no matter how long it's been or what's been going on, I always seem to come back to it. I didn't touch a club more than 10 times during my 5 years in college and grad school. But once I completed my masters, I picked the clubs back up and played more than 75 times the following year.
In 2019, I was fortunate to learn about the PGA Golf Management Program and all the opportunities it could provide. With my academic background and my developing knowledge in the golf world, my love for the game and its nuances have continued to grow as my career has progressed.
Auburn University - Class of 2017
LaGrange College - Class of 2016
But wait, there's more! I am 3 years into my second bachelor's degree at the moment.
Eastern Kentucky University - Class of 2023
I am a huge proponent of individual sport.
While I've enjoyed being a part of team sports in my life, there is just something to be said about having only yourself accountable for your results. For several years through high school and college, I raced motocross in addition to playing on my school's golf teams. It's an interesting dynamic, but both have contributed to my understanding of efficient motion and safety-based athleticism.
Through my years of competition, I have found key commonalities between the two sports:
